And That’s OK

Hello, everyone :)

How are you?  How is life?

aaaa

I want to first apologize if I had anyone worried/concerned by my absense (Hi, Mom!)

I don’t know if you all have noticed, but lately blogging has felt like a full time job.  One that I am not paid for, but one that I invest a LOT in.

The return that I get is far greater than any pay check (I <3 you guys), but it’s time consuming.  And exhausting, at a time in my life when I have a lot of things going out outside of the blog (good things, and nothing abnormal, so please don’t read into that ;).

While I still LOVE reading everyone’s blogs and keeping up with everyone’s life, my own blog has needed to find a new place in my own.

AND THAT’S OK.

Do I want to quit blogging?  No.

Will I be blogging daily for the time being, NO.

I want to come around and keep you all updated when I get the motivation or when I have something to say, but for now I want to spend time outdoors, with my honey, and just be.

And that’s OK :)

  1. I feel you! I’ve looked back over the past few months of my blogging and I went from almost daily to maybe once or twice a week. I love blogging and I love all of the readers who follow, but it is time consuming and well, I just wish I had more time. Glad all is well with you!

  2. I feel the same way! That’s why I stopped posting every day AND stopped making myself feel bad about it. Now I need to stop feeling guilty about not reading every single person’s blog every day. As much as I love blogging, it IS incredibly time consuming. The good thing is that we all understand where you’re coming from cause most of us are bloggers too :)

  3. I agree with this! I enjoy a 3x per week posting “schedule”, and for the last 6 months or so I have decided that it’s more of a suggestion than a steadfast rule. The less often I post, the more I’ll be able to pick out what’s really important or share-worthy, and the better the quality will be!

  4. I 100% get this. Sometimes you get so caught up blogging about life you don’t really have time to enjoy it. I look forward to reading your posts however frequently or infrequently you happen to post them :)

  5. I just feel bad that you’ve been missing out on all my awesome posts. Haha. I hear yah. I’m trying to figure out how to condense blogging time. I’m working on a schedule.

  6. I completely agree! I find I blog a lot then take a little break and post a little here and there. When my husband is home (like right now), I tend to not blog as much or they are short and brief. I have so many posts in draft which I’ll get to someday. I find it hard to read all my favourite blogs all the time.
The best thing about blogging is that it’s your blog and readers will read then they can.(I have missed your posts this week ;)
    Live, Love and Laugh girly.

  7. I know that blogging has been very rewarding for you and it has been a blast for all of us who follow. But, its okay to be a little selfish and take some M.E. time. Winter is over! Get out there and enjoy the sunshine! I love you bunches!!

  8. Yes, it is ok! It’s always ok to not blog if you aren’t motivated to do it or just don’t have a lot to talk about. Or for any other reason. Nothing wrong with that at all, especially because it’s more important that you live your life to the fullest and take time for yourself!

  9. Completely understood and appreciated – you are first and foremost a person! A person who has her own life, priorities, and needs. I love to read up when you post, but I feel the exact same way. Go enjoy the springtime. Readers will always be here when you get back :-)

  10. Do what you need to do lady, I know how you feel, I’ve felt that way sometimes too. Glad everything is okay though :)

  11. Yes, that’s perfectly okay! Blogging can definitely feel like a full time job and, for those lucky few who are getting paid for it, that’s okay. For the rest of us? Sometimes we need a break!
Definitely don’t stress about blogging every day– we’ll all be here when you do. (:

  12. I’ve missed you. When are you coming back? Hope the outdoors has been good to you. But we need you indoors soon! Just kidding, sort of. Hope to read about your adventures soon. Until then, enjoy!

  13. Sometimes I also feel like blogging is a full-time job for me. However I love the interaction I get from my readers and I love hearing about how they got something out of one of my posts.
